	Horse Riding Like to go horse-riding while you're in the region? The Waikato is synonymous with horses. We can recommend Phillips Equine which is located less than 30mins north of the Lodge just outside of Hamilton or alternatively - Briars Seaside Rides which offers an on-the-beach experience on the east coast - an hour's drive from the Lodge. The Lodge will be happy to arrange a booking for you upon request.

	Snow Skiing Enjoy a great night's sleep, have an early breakfast and head off to the snow! Mt Ruapehu is less than 3hrs drive from the Lodge. Transport can be arranged on request.
